The National Information Agency LETA makes daily records, in photo and video, of the key socio-political, economic, cultural and sports events for media editorial offices and organizations.

News photographs

LETA’s photo service presently produces 150-200 news photographs daily covering at least 10-15 key events in Latvia. Captions on the main events and developments are also provided in the English language. Upcoming photo reportages are listed on the planned photo events calendar.

With local and foreign cooperation partners, LETA Photo each day provides approximately 1,000 photographic materials about developments in neighboring countries and worldwide.

Photo Archive and purchase

LETA provides clients with the most extensive array of photographs and illustrations in Latvia through active cooperation with other Latvian and global photography agencies: AFP, EPA, ITAR-TASS and ELTA (Lithuania).

LETA Photo archive contains over 2 million photos since 2005. Photography information in the archive can be found by keyword, date, category and photography agency.

For editorial purposes and according to specific needs and wishes, we offer advantageous subscription terms according to volume of photos desired. Individual photos can also be ordered from LETA and its partners’ photo archives.

Video news

LETA Video was established as a separate LETA department in 2006, which initially created content for the news television channel TV24, and now makes video news for the needs of various media, which are published on the LETA agency’s website, the largest Internet portals and other electronic publications.

Infographics

In addition to our daily operations, we have accumulated vast experience of handling various specialized projects, e.g., generating multimedia content and preparing corporate materials and infographics or information visualisations – from a concept to end-product.
