    LTV to broadcast Olympic Opening Ceremony this evening

    PARIS, July 26 (LETA) - Latvian Television (LTV) will broadcast live the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympic this evening.

    The live broadcast will begin at 8:30 p.m. Latvian time, and will also be broadcast live on Lsm.lv.

    LTV will provide viewers with a variety of content throughout the games: live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies, competitions featuring Latvian athletes, insights into the most important moments and behind the scenes of the competitions, as well as analysis of the events in original programs and publications produced by LTV and Lsm.lv.

    The public media portal Lsm.lv will provide live coverage of the Olympic Games, daily highlights, a calendar of Latvian athletes' starts and a wide range of news.

    The latest information is available in the Olympic Games - Paris 2024 section of Lsm.lv.

    In anticipation of the Opening Ceremony, on July 26 at 19:30 LTV7 will broadcast the Olympics Studio, and immediately after at 20:30 LTV1, LTV7, Lsm.lv - live coverage of the Opening Ceremony. Each day, LTV1 will cover the latest news in Olympics News, while Olympics Studio, hosted by journalist Reinis Osenieks, will provide analysis. Sign language interpretation will be provided for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies as well as for the Olympic Studio.

    For Latvian viewers, the most important Olympic broadcasts will be broadcast live on LTV1, LTV7 and Lsm.lv, as well as in replays.

    The Olympic Games in Paris will take place from July 26 to August 11.
