Miezis and Graudina to be Latvia's flagbearers at opening ceremony of Paris Olympics
RIGA, July 15 (LETA) - Latvian 3x3 national team player Nauris Miezis and beach volleyball player Tina Laura Graudina will be Latvia's flagbearers at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Latvia will be represented by 29 athletes at the Paris Olympics, which will take place from July 26 to August 11.
The Latvian delegation to the Paris Olympics includes Zigmars Raimo, Francis Lacis, Karlis Lasmanis, Nauris Miezis (3x3 national team), Lina Muze-Sirma, Anete Sietina, Agate Caune, Gunta Vaicule, Ruta Kate Lasmane, Patriks Gailums, Gatis Cakss, Valters Kreiss (all athletics), Pavels Svecovs (modern pentathlon), Daniils Bobrovs, Ieva Maluka (both swimming), Dzeja Patrika (diving), Toms Skujins, Anastasija Karbonari (both road cycling), Martins Blums (mountain biking), Veronika Monika Sturiska, Kristens Krigers (both supercross BMX), Ernests Zebolds (freestyle BMX), Tina Graudina, Anastasija Samoilova (both beach volleyball), Alona Ostapenko (tennis), Kristaps Neretnieks (equestrian), Agate Rasmane, Lauris Strautmanis (both shooting), Ritvars Suharevs (weightlifting).
