Greens/Farmers come out on top in Jelgava Region
RIGA, Oct 2 (LETA) - The Union of Greens and Farmers came out on top in Jelgava Region, where 3,156 or 22.58 percent of voters supported the union in the 14th Saeima elections, according to the Central Election Commission.
New Unity is second with 18.87 percent of the vote, followed by the United List with 11.73 percent and National Alliance with 10.72 percent of the vote.
Other parties were supported by less than 5 percent of voters in Jelgava Region.
