Insurance Market Review

The monthly analytical insurance market review centers on risk and life insurance companies and insurance brokerage companies’ operations in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Besides review of developments on the insurance market, extensive statistics are offered to clients: information on the insurance companies’ financial reports and contracts signed in the risk and life insurance markets, statistics of insurance brokers’ financial data, review of OCTA insurance, statistical data on fires, thefts and registered vehicles.

Each review offers unique studies into advertising activity, and sociological surveys. Monitoring of advertising activity in the printed media performed by LETA gives information on the insurers’ advertising volumes, services advertised, media used. Sociological surveys that LETA performs in collaboration with the market and public opinion research center SKDS look into consumers’ opinion about insurance services and the providers thereof, the questions included in these surveys are harmonized with the insurance companies.

Information compiled by insurance market watchdogs and associations, information from insurance companies and brokerage companies as well as materials from LETA and foreign news agencies are used in preparing the review.
